On January 5-8, 2022, Intetics participated in the world-renowned CES conference held in Las Vegas.
Businesses are gradually overcoming the pandemic, and more and more events are returning to the offline format. The impressive number of stands presented at the exhibition clearly showed that the organizers employed all necessary measures against COVID-19, and the conference complied with international safety requirements. That means one thing: offline events are finally back!
CES returned ‘home’ to Las Vegas, welcoming well over 40,000+ attendees in person, including 1,800 global media professionals, across 11 indoor and outdoor venues.
The show was truly a global event, with 30% of attendees traveling from outside the US – representing 119 countries.
Boris Kontsevoi, President and CEO, and Irina Dubovik, Digital Marketing Director, represented Intetics at the event and shared their insights.
The location and the venue – a unique ecosystem connecting business, technology, digital art, and entertainment.
Las Vegas, and the CES conference, are definitely worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
CES® is the most influential tech event globally — the proving ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovators. It’s where the world’s biggest brands do business and meet new partners, and the sharpest innovators hit the stage.
Las Vegas is a major internationally renowned resort city, known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife. The Las Vegas Valley serves as the leading financial, commercial, and cultural center for Nevada.
The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World and is famous for its mega casino-hotels and associated activities. It is a top three destination in the United States for business conventions and a global leader in the hospitality industry, claiming more AAA Five Diamond hotels than any other city in the world. Today, Las Vegas annually ranks as one of the world’s most visited tourist destinations.
Las Vegas was built in a very particular way so that it’s often referred to as a free-standing art object in itself. It represents a real ecosystem with enormous buildings; each hotel or business center has its own infrastructure with various events, art objects, and activities.
Some of the buildings are styled as miniature versions of different countries: France, Italy, Egypt, etc.
The Venue
One of the CES’s venues (The Venetian Tower), inspired by the magical atmosphere of the famous Italian region, also belongs to the group of sites with unconventional settings. Exposition stands could be found on each of the mall’s floors; the shopping center even had artificial channels with Venetian gondolas cruising along them.
Teslas in Tunnels
Due to the huge distance, the transfer between pavilions was organized in a novel way – all participants got to enjoy the Tesla loop. Loop is an all-electric, zero-emissions, high-speed underground public transportation system in which passengers are transported to their destination with no intermediate stops. Also known as “Teslas in Tunnels!”

Las Vegas and the CES conference; this is where you can follow digital technologies and watch them integrate with business, art, and entertainment true experience businesses. And most importantly, it’s possible to find the latest trends all in one place.
Here, buildings are more than just buildings: they offer a wide range of facilities, including evergreen botanical gardens, business centers, mesmerizing art spaces, etc. But what impressed me the most was the sheer number of participants providing incredible digital expositions.
Bellagio stole my heart. It’s a legendary hotel and casino, which happened to be the filming location of Ocean’s Eleven.
And the Lion Habitat Ranch, where Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cares about 40 rare lions and 1 giraffe, painting pictures.
