The Stanford Institute for International Studies and Graduate School of Business will host the U.S.-Russia Technology Symposium (“USRTS”), an investor conference on Russia’s technology sector, on January 29-30, 2004. USRTS will promote expanded bilateral trade relations between the United States and Russia in the technology sector.
Enjoying economic growth of 4.3 percent in 2002, Russia is well positioned to become a major player in the increasingly global technology industry. The event will provide an opportunity for industry leaders in both countries to network and cooperate in the fields of information technology, biotechnology, semiconductors, homeland security, and defense conversion.
